Birthday Party

Today I attended a very awesome birthday party. It was very fun! We went to the classic roller skating place in Orem. We arrived at the skating rink, rented out roller skates, and were on the floor, skating it smoothly, by 4:30. We were having so much fun!
Then the DJ announced a snowball skate. It was girls choice, and my friend got to start, being the birthday girl. She chose a really cute, really nice boy. He was Hispanic and a fantastic skater. His name was Johnny.
Johnny then asked me, and since my friend couldn't find anyone else to skate with, she grabbed his other side. The song was Love Story by Taylor Swift. It was actually really fun!
Later that evening, Johnny asked us to skate with him again. You gotta believe me; he was a really nice kid! (He even bowed!) So we obliged.
We then went with the party giver's mom to get ice cream. And lo and behold, who skates up to us but -- you guessed it -- Johnny. Johnny gave my friend a rose and me a wink. We were all giggling way hard by then! When we went home we teased my friend endlessly.
It's not as if I'm totally in love with this kid. I've just never had anyone express that much feeling toward my friends ever, and it was only the first time we'd met him! He was very very nice.
I think that this party will be very fun to look back at.
